An enriching adventure for both our business structure and our staff.
On the 23rd day of the current month, we had the pleasure of being invited to FITUR, the most important tourism fair in the world. Located in Madrid (IFEMA, whose activity has an economic impact for the territory of 4,374 million euros and generates more than 26,000 jobs) and with more than 40 years of history, it is composed of stands from all over the world: From Spain, to Asia and America, going through America; that is, a global representation of all tourism sectors in the world.
Tour operators, tourist accommodation, travel agencies, institutions, software, hotels … We all had a place at FITUR. Organized by really huge pavilions. Taking advantage in addition, to open borders and meet in particular South Korea, guest country.
Our experience at FITUR was, at least, enriching. We were able to meet our managers of Expedia Group, Spain-Holiday, Booking, Trip Advisor, among others … We were able to put face to those who help us daily to provide a good service to our customers. Metrics, rhythms, meetings … They have helped us understand why certain issues: Where can we improve ?, What are we wrong about? How can we seasonally adjust our area? When should we act? … These are many of the questions we have been able to understand and improve if possible, to provide a better service.
It has been a short but intense journey … The meetings were from administrations, to web portals and management parograms. In addition, we were able to offer our tour operators to different tour operators. Meetings of about five minutes in which mutually beneficial information is exchanged to do business.
Finally, we would like to highlight the professionalism of each and every one of the professionals who have been part of FITUR and the excellent service at all times. Next year more and better!
